|details= Four score and several years ago, our ancestors created Sydapedia. The land used to be peaceful, but recently some shithead decided to post pornographics of Chinese variety. This was the first time somebody had really decided to post crap that needs to be deleted. I had a dream that my fellow Wikiers who did not have the right to delete articles would help the Wiki by somehow informing the people who DO have those rights of the articles, so they can be carefully and swiftly deleted. == Introduction ==
So, some of you may recall a certain sandwich, the Double Down, released by the fast food giant KFC recently. It received much attention on the internet, due to it's unorthodox construction. In order to bypass the need for a bun (which would take up room where there could be chicken) KFC went all out and replaced the bread with two fried boneless chicken breasts. The sandwich consists of:
*2 Fried boneless chicken breasts
*2 pieces of white American cheese
*2 strips of bacon
*Colonel Sauce (I chose to bypass the sauce to get more controlled results.)

== First Impressions ==
When I first unwrapped the double down, I took a moment to gaze upon it's glory. Before eating, I held it, the chicken was very hot. However, I noticed the cheese was not, and was in fact cold where it wasn't touching the chicken.
This was unimportant though, as it quickly melted. As I looked, I noticed something missing: the bacon. I panicked at first, but upon closer inspection, I realized the bacon was there, there just wasn't a lot.

== Eating The Damn Thing ==
And so I took my first bite. Everybody's tongue can sense four flavors: salty, sweet, bitter, and sour. And let me tell you, this sandwich was NOT bitter, sour, or sweet. After the first bite, I looked back into the sandwich. The reason for the saltiness was made clear: The bacon was too tough to tear and came out of the sandwich in one bite. Needless to say, I was dissapointed.

I continued eating the abomination of all that is sandwich. with the bacon gone, all there was was chicken. Sure there was cheese, but it was incredibly bland and mild. The rest of the sandwich tasted like nothing but chicken, the cheese being completely and totally overpowered by the bird.

== Conclusion ==
I'll be rating the sandwich on two categories out of 5 possible stars each: Flavor and Texture.

FLAVOR: *** The sandwich tasted like chicken. That's it. The cheese was mild to the point that it might as well have not been there, and the overly salty, tough bacon was gone in a bite.

TEXTURE: **** The texture was actually very pleasing. After the leathery bacon was out of the way, there was nothing but delicios chicken with crunchy breading, countered by the cheese, which didn't contribute to any flavors, but gave a slightly creamy texture.

END RESULT

He is a large fan of the Pokemon games and over 10 years has obtained, with the help of his sister, a very large collection of Pokemon cards, games, and other merchandise. ToGdor also likes to think he can play bass, but he can't.

Later that year, he joined the chat room, however the name "ThatGuy" was already taken, so he called himself ThatOtherGuy. Hilarious, No? No. Anyway, that got annoying to type, so he abbreviated it to ToG. This somehow became ToGdor, and he decided to make that his name on the forums. Later names in the chat room include TheBassist, ChokingVictim, SpaceDolphin, and more recently, MacaroniKenshin.

ToGdor lives somewhere outside Philadelphia, except when he's part of a foreign exchange program with Kenya. Then he lives in Kenya. He is a large fan of the Pokemon games and over 10 years has obtained, with the help of his sister, a very large collection of Pokemon cards, games, and other merchandise. == Introduction ==
So, some of you may recall a certain sandwich, the Double Down, released by the fast food giant KFC recently. It received much attention on the internet, due to it's unorthodox construction. In order to bypass the need for a bun (which would take up room where there could be chicken) KFC went all out and replaced the bread with two fried boneless chicken breasts. The sandwich consists of:
*2 Fried boneless chicken breasts
*2 pieces of white American cheese
*2 strips of bacon
*Colonel Sauce (I chose to bypass the sauce to get more controlled results.

== First Impressions ==
When I first unwrapped the double down, I took a moment to gaze upon it's glory. Before eating, I held it, the chicken was very hot. However, I noticed the cheese was not, and was in fact cold where it wasn't touching the chicken.
This was unimportant though, as it quickly melted. As I looked, I noticed something missing: the bacon. I panicked at first, but upon closer inspection, I realized the bacon was there, there just wasn't a lot.

== Eating The Damn Thing ==
And so I took my first bite. Everybody's tongue can sense four flavors: salty, sweet, bitter, and sour. And let me tell you, this sandwich was NOT bitter, sour, or sweet. After the first bite, I looked back into the sandwich. The reason for the saltiness was made clear: The bacon was too tough to tear and came out of the sandwich in one bite. Needless to say, I was dissapointed.

I continued eating the abomination of all that is sandwich. with the bacon gone, all there was was chicken. Sure there was cheese, but it was incredibly bland and mild. The rest of the sandwich tasted like nothing but chicken, the cheese being completely and totally overpowered by the bird.

== Conclusion ==
I'll be rating the sandwich on two categories out of 5 possible stars each: Flavor and Texture.

FLAVOR: *** The sandwich tasted like chicken. That's it. The cheese was mild to the point that it might as well have not been there, and the overly salty, tough bacon was gone in a bite.

TEXTURE: **** The texture was actually very pleasing. After the leathery bacon was out of the way, there was nothing but delicios chicken with crunchy breading, countered by the cheese, which didn't contribute to any flavors, but gave a slightly creamy texture.

END RESULT

[[The Food Forum Militia]] is a group of renegades which formed in July 2008 with the dedicated mission of establishing a food board on the [[SydLexia.com Forums]].

== History ==

Founded by [[sidewaydriver]], it began when he posted a simple suggestion after he noticed a large amount of food topics (like 2 or 3) being posted. After seeing the strong opinions people had on the idea, everybody fought over having a food forum, but strangely didn't have a problem with the overrated sports forum. He and a few others decided to post daily food topics in the '''General Discussion''' forum to prove that there is a desire for a Food forum. So far the threads have seen great response from other members. Opposers have gone on to form their own group called S.T.F.U. (Sydlexians for Treating Food Unfairly).

Whether there will be a food forum or not remains to be seen. As for now, you can find the official forum at http://ffmilitia.onediscussion.net/

On Thursday, August 21st 2008, at around 3:15 AM, [[Docinsano]] logged into the Food Militia's Official forum. Seeing that the forums had seen little action, he declared them dead at 3:31[http://ffmilitia.onediscussion.net/the-lounge-room-f4/this-board-is-dead-t44.htm]officially disbanding the Food Forum Militia. The other members of the Militia have yet to respond. <s>It is unknown whether the Militia will make a comeback in the future.</s>
The Food Forum Militia, made a comeback in November where a new forum was suggested. The conversation eventually led to a discussion about finally making the food forum. Syd gave a reason for not making one where he said that he could not justify one until the other sections (Reading, sports, toys) receive more traffic

After the first bite, I looked back into the sandwich. The reason for the saltiness was made clear: The bacon was too tough to tear and came out of the sandwich in one bite. Needless to say, I was dissapointed.

I continued eating the abomination of all that is sandwich. with the bacon gone, all there was was chicken. Sure there was cheese, but it was incredibly bland and mild. The rest of the sandwich tasted like nothing but chicken, the cheese being completely and totally overpowered by the bird.

== Conclusion ==
I'll be rating the sandwich on two categories out of 5 possible stars each: Flavor and Texture.

FLAVOR: *** The sandwich tasted like chicken. That's it. The cheese was mild to the point that it might as well have not been there, and the overly salty, tough bacon was gone in a bite.

TEXTURE: **** The texture was actually very pleasing. After the leathery bacon was out of the way, there was nothing but delicios chicken with crunchy breading, countered by the cheese, which didn't contribute to any flavors, but gave a slightly creamy texture.
