Beach Bum is a 24 year old college student majoring in Accounting and getting his teaching certification. He lives in Springfield, Illinois and hates it there, even though it is his hometown. He moved to Florida after graduating High School, but the recession forced him out of his job and he had to move back to snowy hell. It is prophesied that one day Beach Bum will again return to the beaches of Florida.

Beach Bum enjoys a tasty Mountain Dew regularly and awaits the return of Pitch Black sometime in May '11(Seriously that shit is awesome.) His alcohol of choice is tequila, usually in the form of a Margarita on the rocks. If forced to drink beer he will always choose Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss. Oh he also like Grape and Apple juice, but hates the taste of water.

Received an SNES when he was 5, and really enjoyed the hell out of Chuck Rock that first night. As a kid he enjoyed Platformers, Beat-Em Ups, and whatever the hell category Legend of the Mystical Ninja is. He was introduced to Civilization at 5 or 6 by watching his father play and has owned every version of the game since. He even ventured out to some of the spin-off titles like Alpha Centauri and Colonization. Nowadays he enjoys mostly RPGs and Strategy games, because button mashing no longer appeals to him. He will play the occasional FPS game but mostly only enjoys them when they have RPG elements like Dead Space and Mass Effect. Also Dwarf Fortress is a game that he has recently fallen in love with.
