Predator 2 is the second installment of the Predator franchise. Set 10 years after the events of [[Predator]], the movie has an LAPD officer named Mike Harrigan fighting to quell the gang war going on in the city, which has attracted a Predator there. When he starts picking off gangsters, cops and anyone who's armed, Harrigan takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of things. In the end, Harrigan saves several city blocks from destruction, defeats the Predator with one of his own weapons and is rewarded by by a Chieftain of the race with a trophy of his own: a vintage 1715 pistol, indicating that they have been coimg to Earth for many years.

It inspired the video game [[Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II]].
