[[The NES Drinking Saga]] is a comic created by Syd that follows the hero, Kirby, as he lapses into an alcohol induced coma, and then tries to fight his way out of it. Or maybe he tries to save the president, no one's really sure.

== Plot ==

In the beginning, there really was no plot, and it was rare for one comic to be connected in any way to the preceeding installment.

The exact time a cohesive plot began may be a point of debate, but President Reagan first appeared in episode VII, and the presidential kidnapping plot continued from there.

After defeating a number of villians, Kirby stepped through a portal and came face to face with Leonardo, whereupon an epic battle took place. Aside from Syd, no one really knows if this battle is part of the kidnapping plot, or whether or not it takes place in the coma world or the video game world.

== Current Status ==

The NESDS has been stagnant now for over a year, and appears to be dead and forgotten. However, there was a thirteen month hiatus between installments XXII and XXV, (the last two comics involving the plot), so anything could happen.
