Metallica has some iconic songs like Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven, and Nothing Else Matters Master of Puppets, Seek & Destroy and For Whom the Bell Tolls.

This alienated many fans because they would actually have to pay for their music Metallica was against the free distribution of music. But it's not like it's worth paying for their music anyway.
