Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II

Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II is an NES game released in 1994. Set a few months after the events of [[StarTropics]], the game has Mike Jones travelling to various time periods and locales in search of the mystical Tetrads at the behest of Mica, princess of the Argonians. Fighting his way through monster-filled tunnels and meeting famous figures historical and fictitious alike, Mike gains a new, increasingly strong power called the Psychic Shock Wave and soon learns that three clones of Zoda are also looking for the Tetrads. In the end, Mike defeats the last of the clones and saves the Coralcolans and Argonians, after which Chief Coralcola assembles the Tetrads, which form Mica's father, the Argonian King Hirocon, long thought dead, and they all return to their planet to begin their civilization anew.

It was inspired by the movie [[Predator 2]].

StarTropics is an NES game released in 1990. The game has a 15-year-old pitcher named Mike Jones visting his scientist uncle, Dr. Steve Jones, AKA Dr. J, on C-Island. When Mike gets there, however, he finds his uncle missing and is sent by Chief Coralcola on a quest to find him. Fighting his way through monster-filled tunnels on numerous islands, Mike soon learns that his uncle was kidnapped by aliens. In the end, Mike confornts and defeats their leader, Zoda, destroys their spaceship and, in addition to his uncle, saves a friendly alien race, the Argonians, from extinction.

Predator is the first installment of the Predator franchise. The movie has a commando named Dutch joining a special forces team in Central America under the pretense of liberating a P.O.W. camp when, in truth, they were sent to bust up a drug operation. During extraction maneuvers, the team is picked off, one by one, by an extraterrestrial big game hunter lured there by the combination of heat and conflict, sparing only those who cannot fight back. In the end, Dutch confronts the Predator and, after a savage battle, defeats him. When the Predator reveals his face, he activates a bomb to take his own life and Dutch narrowly escapes the explosion.
