AHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's funny. I've never really considered myself "metal", I'm definitely more of a hard rock guy that likes metal.

And just as Van Halen is mistakenly referred to as metal, they are not glam metal. They're just a solid hard rock band that has touched on metal (Fair Warning) and pop (Sammy Gaybar era)

Van Halen

Van Halen is a rock band, more specifically a Glam Rock band. I know that some people think they are metal, but honestly... NO.

I'm not putting them down at all, they are very good at what they do, and they can sure as hell put out some music. But it isn't heavy metal.
