A website with user made videos. When it was released it was awesome because nothing like it was made before, and it had great content. Now it has nothing but ads and crappy videos. The only good videos are video game reviews, but Youtube took out "Games and Gadgets" category, so the video game reviews are scattered.
Youtube is also great for finding old metal videos and live footage of your favorite bands.

Google has been forced to give YouTube user details to Viacom for a court case about copyright infringement to see if the most popular video on the site are from copyrighted sources. Viacom has requested the videos watched by individual users as well as their IP Addresses.
This is obviously a thinly veiled attempt to break our right to privacy and further control our media we see through our popular websites.
