Mortal Kombat is the first game in the Mortal Kombat Series.
It is one of the most controversial games of all time and was one of two titles that most directly caused the creation of the ESRB.
The other game was Digital Pictures Night Trap.
Mortal Kombat actors Daniel Pesina (Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero) and Carlos Pesina (Raiden) appear in forum member DarkMaze's film Press Start as Sasori and Lei Gong, respectively. Notably, "Sasori" is Japanese for "Scorpion" and Lei Gong is the name of the Chinese god of thunder.
Mortal Kombat was better than Street Fighter. This not only describes the category of video games, but also film adaptations of video games. However, Mortal Kombat II: Annihilation, and the Street Fighter movie are both among the worst movies of all time. | ||
