Preng is a goofy, lanky bastard from the Fucking State of: Missouri. He can usually be found among the Video Games forums and sometimes in the SydLexia.com IRC channel, but usually lurks around the rest of the forums as well.
As opposed to most Americans, Preng doesn't really have an extremely strong opinion on every single topic and usually prefers to see what others are saying before forming judgment. The choice is yours whether or not you call Preng's mindset wishy-washy mamby-pambyism or trying to avoid sounding like an unintelligent asshole who just barges into a subject with an irrelevant wall of text. Anyways, because of this Preng usually reads topics but doesn't post too often.
Preng will now stop talking in the third person.
Q
My favored image to hide behind during my stay on the internet at the moment is none other than Q from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. I never had much interest in the series as a whole until a friend introduced me to the game. Most of the fighters in the game have either professional or strange fighting styles, but Q's quickly struck me as the goofiest considering his clumsiness; ultimately, I ended up gaining some sort of healthy obsession for Q since we are both goofy, lanky bastards.
Roughly five minutes after joining the forums I was a bit amused to discover that TheRoboSleuth's avatar was Robot Detective K, the main character of the Robot Detective television show that aired in Japan in 1973. The point is that Robot Detective K likely had a great influence on Q's creation, so I was worried that I was invading his style. Luckily, no harm was done and to this day we have been teaming up like in Double Impact. A full-feature film was going to be released but unfortunately current filming equipment cannot record the inhuman levels of badassery involved.
Interests
Well, I'm not exactly list specific examples of my favorite music, movies, television shows, video games and other interests here. I figure it's better to find this stuff out in an actual conversation than to just lay it out for you to read like a book; however, I will say my tastes in everything are pretty much eclectic, and if you see me in the SydLexia.com IRC channel, feel free to ask me anything! While you're there, link me whatever music you're listening to; I find that swapping music around is a great way to find new artists!
Hypocritical Super Shameless Plug
Right now it's pretty empty, but I mainly plan to upload what I feel are the hidden gems of the music underground. I'd also like to add some video game playthroughs, but at the moment I don't have any recording hardware or software to make it possible.
