A show created by comedian Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, who liked the show so much he named it after Jerry. The show ran for nine seasons, which some say is good as it didn't have time to become unfunny (as many shows do).

The show is believed by some to have spawned the concept of "meta". One example is Jerry (in the show) trying to pitch a show called Jerry to NBC that is about nothing. This exactly mirrors Seinfeld itself. Another ongoing story involves Kramer (played by Michael Richards) writing a coffee table book about coffee tables. This is a huge success, and results in him becoming rich, going on vacation, and eventually talks of a movie adaptation.

A later show by Larry David is called Curb Your Enthusiasm, and it similar except it uses real places (not sets) and has no laughtrack.
