The Doppel Gang

The Doppel Gang (1996-2000) was the semi-official name of a group of Magic: The Gathering players consisting of Syd Lexia, Dr. Jeebus, Spanky McCracken, APLETHORAOFPINATAS, and several others. Despite frequent tournament attendance, plans to order team t-shirts never materialized. This was probably for the best, because professional M:TG teams are without exception comprised of complete douchebags.
The less official name of the group was "The Magic 8". The beauty of that name is that there were ten of them.
