The Doppel Gang

The Doppel Gang (1996-2000) was the semi-official name of a group of Magic: The Gathering players consisting of Syd Lexia, Dr. Jeebus, Spanky McCracken, APLETHORAOFPINATAS, and several others. Despite frequent tournament attendance, plans to order team t-shirts never materialized. This was probably for the best, because professional M:TG teams are without exception comprised of complete douchebags.

The group was originally going to be called "The Magic Eight", until Jeebus pointed out that there were ten of them.
