This particular Metroid game is a remake of the original Metroid. A new section was added where the first game left off; after Samus beats the Mother Brain and tries to escape, she gets captured by the space pirates. What follows is a really, really hard stealth sequence, followed by another battle with Ridley. Then the game ends.
