Alowishus is a user of the forums on SydLexia.com.
Origins
Arrival
Alowishus first found the site after seeing a link posted in a thread on 4chan in which awesome websites were listed. After reading a few articles and seeing the interest in retro gaming within the forum community Alowishus decided to sign on up.
Username
Alowishus is one of the few usernames that he uses both as forum usernames and gaming IDs - Mainly for online games notably Starcraft, Red Alert 2 and character names in WoW.
The name originates from a likening he took to the name after listening to the song My Name is Mud by one of his favorite bands Primus:
My name is Mud, but call me Alowishus Devadander Abercrombie
Alowishus likes to use the short form or Mud.
Interests
Music
Since his early teens Alowishus has had a deep interest and passion for music. His favourite genres of music include:
- Alternative Rock/Metal
- Funk Rock/Metal
- Jazz
- Post-Hardcore
- Noise Rock
- Grunge
He plays three musical instruments: Drums, Bass Guitar (4 and 6 stringed) and Guitar. He played bass guitar and on the very rare occasion drums for his school big band.
Video Games
Alowishus also has an interest in gaming most notably retro gaming. He got his first games console when he was 4 years old (a SNES). He now has a PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Wii, PC and recently obtained a Sega Megadrive (Genesis) and Nintendo 64. He used to own an Apple Mac which was his families first computer they bought in 1993. It later burnt out and stopped working.
