Rock N' Roll is a genre of music that was created by black people in the late '40s in clubs. It was popularized in the '50s by artists such as Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry. There really wasn't anyone else. Also, it evolved over the next few decades and kicked ass.
Of the above mentioned five, only the white guys died. Little Richard and Chuck Berry are still rockin' N' rollin' and haven't aged since the 50s.
