This is by far the most overrated game in the Metroid Series, as well as the most overrated SNES game.
It was the second of only three SNES games to surpass Super Mario World, after The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and before Final Fantasy VI.
It was inspired by the movie Alien 3.
